By crossing the finish line at 4 hours 13 minutes 19 seconds last night in La Turballe, the skipper of Edenred took a fine 2nd place on this third leg between Royan and the Loire-Atlantique region. Basile completed the 710-mile course in 3 days 14 hours 13 minutes and 19 seconds, but actually covered 776.9 miles at an average speed of 9.01 knots. He finished 5 minutes and 55 seconds behind Loïs Berrehar, the stage winner. This is the second podium finish in La Solitaire du Figaro Paprec 2024 for the Edenred skipper, who was one of the key players in this edition won by Tom Dolan. Basile Bourgnon finished 7th overall.
