2023 Solitaire du Figaro: in the big leagues

At the age of 21, Basile Bourgnon took second place overall in the prestigious Solitaire du Figaro Paprec in only his second participation in the event. The Edenred skipper, winner of the second leg, crossed the finish line of the third and final leg between Roscoff and Piriac-sur-Mer at 04h 02mn 14s on Thursday, September 14. Completing the 470-mile course in 3 days 13 hours 19 minutes and 14 seconds, Basile Bourgnon took 10^th place on the leg and finished second overall, 10 minutes and 52 seconds behind Corentin Horeau, winner of this 54^th edition. A superb performance, a result beyond his expectations.
